Terms and conditions
1. Scope and seller
These terms apply to the purchase of the “Coast FIRE Spreadsheet” through this website. The seller and your contracting party is AMZ-PRODUCTS GmbH, Krummspät 78, 26810 Westoverledingen, Germany (details in the legal notice). The contract language is English.
2. Product
The calculator on this website is free. Only the spreadsheet is paid: a digital file in Excel format (.xlsx) with the calculator's formulas, pre-filled with the numbers you entered in the calculator, with editable scenarios, a year-by-year projection, a Barista FIRE section and a notes sheet with formulas and sources. The file is created in your browser and can be opened in Microsoft Excel and imported into Google Sheets. You are responsible for the accuracy of your inputs.
The spreadsheet is an educational planning tool. It is not investment, tax or financial advice, and it does not promise any return, savings or retirement date. Results depend on your inputs and assumptions; actual market returns vary.
3. Conclusion of the contract
The presentation of the spreadsheet on the website is not yet a binding offer. Clicking “Buy the spreadsheet” takes you to the checkout page of our payment provider Stripe, where you can check and correct your details. By clicking the button to complete the payment you make a binding offer; the contract is concluded when the payment succeeds. We do not store the contract text separately; you can view and print these terms on this page at any time.
4. Price and payment
The price is €9.00 once, charged in euros, including VAT where applicable. There is no subscription. If your card is in another currency, your bank may convert the amount and charge its own fees. Payment is made through Stripe with the payment methods offered there and is due immediately.
5. Delivery
The spreadsheet is available immediately after payment: return to the website – right away or later, even after closing the window – calculate your result if needed and choose “Download my Coast FIRE spreadsheet” below the offer. The button appears in the browser in which you clicked “Buy the spreadsheet”. If this does not work, email us at [email protected]; we will help you or refund the price.
6. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a right of withdrawal. Details, including its early expiry for digital content, are in the withdrawal policy.
7. Warranty and liability
The statutory rights for defects of digital products apply (§§ 327 et seq. German Civil Code, BGB). We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. For slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage; otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded.
8. Dispute resolution and final provisions
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
